Anna Freud is a world-leading, evidence-led, mental wellbeing charity, here to benefit children, young people and families. Our focus is empowering and supporting every person who impacts on the lives of children and young people, from policy-makers to teachers, parents and carers to clinicians, emergency responders to sports coaches.

Using our expertise and working in partnership we are closing gaps in science, implementation and access to knowledge. We recognise that nationally there is a growing number of children and young people who are experiencing distress, struggling or unwell with their mental wellbeing. There is also a significant gap between their need for mental wellbeing support and the help available. We are partnering and collaborating across the community to close these gaps, and prevent further growth in the number of children and young people experiencing distress, struggling or unwell.
