City Lit is a large adult education college based in central London. Our purpose is to create opportunities for people to come together to enrich their lives through learning.

We offer online and classroom based courses, from part-time short courses and one-off workshops to year-long programmes.  We have an array of courses across a massive range of subject areas including art and design, music, dance, history, writing, computing, massage, languages and much more.

Ofsted inspectors rated City Lit as an Outstanding provider following inspection in May 2023. This is a great achievement which we are proud of as a college.

We offer around 5,000 courses a year to approximately 25,000 students. Our courses are taught by expert tutors, most of whom are industry professionals with up-to-date and rich experience of work in their subject areas.

Our flagship building in Keeley Street hosts a range of purpose built facilities including a Digital and Design Lab, jewellery and ceramics studios, theatre and many more.

Central to everything we do are our values.

• Open-hearted
• Imaginative
• Ambitious
