Asthma + Lung UK is dedicated to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. Through our campaigns, research, and support services, we aim to transform perceptions, prioritise lung health, and improve the lives of those affected by lung conditions. Following our merger in 2020, we are seeking a Director of Finance and Corporate Services to optimise our ICT infrastructure and financial reporting and build a skilled, resilient staff to support our mission.

This key leadership role within our Executive Team will oversee operational efficiency and effective cross-organisational collaboration. You will drive continuous innovation in response to evolving external and internal needs.

The Director of Finance and Corporate Services will manage the charity's financial systems, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and enhanced financial insights. You will lead the implementation of a new finance system and activity-based planning framework to improve financial management and decision-making. Additionally, you will leverage data to measure impact and performance while upholding governance, risk management, and compliance standards. You will also shape governance, technology, and human resources strategies, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

We seek a candidate with significant experience in senior finance or corporate services roles, preferably in the charity or not-for-profit sector. You should have a proven track record of leading large-scale strategic projects in finance, technology, governance, and people development. Financial qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and deep expertise in financial systems are essential. Strong leadership and people management skills and experience with ICT infrastructure and data-driven performance tracking are critical.
