Salary: £80,000 circa

In 1995, inspired by her father's inability to read, the music icon, entertainer, and philanthropist Dolly Parton launched her Imagination Library to foster an early love of reading in her hometown by gifting high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five at no cost to their families. Today, the international programme operates in five countries: the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, and the Republic of Ireland.

The Dollywood Foundation UK was established as a charity in 2007 and operates as one of the international divisions of the US-based Dollywood Foundation. Since 2008, the Dollywood Foundation UK has worked with community partners and sponsors to bring the Imagination Library to children in all four UK nations and in the Republic of Ireland since 2019.

We are looking for a new Executive Director to develop and lead the growth of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at scale for the Dollywood Foundation UK. As an excellent communicator, a competent decision-maker, and an effective leader, manager, and strategist, you will be a relationship builder, horizon scanner and possess self-drive and a genuine commitment to help children and make a significant difference in their lives.
