Description
An exciting vacancy has arisen at TCV for an Executive Support Officer. This role acts as the right-hand person to the Chief Executive and Leadership Team, as well as providing executive assistance to the Chair and Board of Trustees.
The role is varied and highly visible, requiring the utmost discretion, confidentiality and professionalism due to the nature of the work and responsibilities.
There is a high degree of flexibility required by the post holder as they will independently lead and organise the day-to-day admin and operational delivery of the executive support function, including drafting reports, agendas, Board/Committee/Leadership team papers and minutes, creating presentations and communications. They will also manage the time and diaries of the Chief Executive and other members of the Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in running a Senior Leaders'/Chief Executives' office, which includes managing diaries, resolving scheduling challenges, prioritising and coordinating appointments and travel arrangements in an effective way.
They will be required to create and maintain information, prepare a range of written communications (including minutes and records of meetings) , arrange meetings and handle communication management systems that enable the Executive Team to operate efficiently.
The role will suit someone with a keen eye for detail who has the ability to think ahead and join the dots. As the Executive Support Officer, duties such as fielding enquiries, liaising with external stakeholders, organising events, greeting visitors, general admin and flagging important and urgent actions will also form part of the day to day.
The successful candidate will have experience in effective and timely meeting preparation, agenda compilation, papers collation, coordinating/distributing accurate and high-quality pre-meeting agendas, papers and Board and Committee packs.
