Young Lives vs Cancer is the only UK charity with specialist social workers providing tailored support to children and young people with cancer and their families. We help them navigate cancer's emotional and practical challenges, breaking down barriers, solving issues, and prioritising wellbeing. We take the time to understand what matters to them and strive to ensure their voices are heard so they receive the proper care and support at the right time.

Together with our partners, we have set an ambitious ‘North Star’ for children and young people with cancer, focused on innovation and challenging traditional approaches. Our new strategy, The Time is Now, outlines our commitment to research, development, collaboration, and exploring new ways to fund and deliver this crucial work.

Our Board of Trustees fully supports this vision, and we're seeking four new trustees with the passion and expertise to guide us forward. We are looking for individuals who can:

·      Shape the use of evidence and data, including through technology;

·      Influence and drive systemic change, whether through strategic partnerships or policy work;

·      Foster a truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive organisation;

·      Build entrepreneurial partnerships across various sectors.
